FAQ

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Sessions include the full gallery of professionally edited images, delivered in an online gallery for easy viewing and download. The exceptions are mini sessions which come with 10 professionally edited images, with the option to purchase more.

Can I order prints and products from my gallery?

Yes! You can order directly from your online gallery store. Taking care of it soon after your gallery is ready can be helpful so it doesn’t end up on your “to-do” list (I totally get it as a mom!). Of course, you’re always welcome to download your images and print them wherever you like.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

The ideal time is between 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy and naturally curled. I recommend booking while you’re pregnant to reserve a spot.

What’s the difference between a mini session and a regular session?

Mini sessions are short, seasonal sessions that happen only a few times a year and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. They’re $200 for a 15-minute session and include 10 images, with additional images available to purchase if you’d like.
Regular sessions, on the other hand, are longer—about 45 minutes—and allow for a calmer, more relaxed pace. They include a full gallery, so there’s no need to pick and choose your favorites, and we have more time to capture a variety of poses, locations, and genuine moments.
While mini sessions are a fun, quick option, regular sessions are ideal if you want a more complete experience and don’t want to feel rushed.

How should we dress for our family session?

I recommend soft, neutral tones and coordinating (not matching) outfits. The goal is to keep things timeless and natural—I’m always happy to help you plan your outfits. After booking, I’ll also send over a style guide with tips and ideas to make choosing outfits even easier.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can take place in your home, at an outdoor location, or in my studio in Pelham, NH. I also offer the option to bring a full studio setup to your home for certain sessions.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

That’s completely okay—and expected! I’m a mom too, and I approach every session with patience and flexibility. Some of the best moments come from letting kids be themselves.

What if my newborn is fussy during the session?

Deep breath, we go at baby's pace. Before your session, I’ll send you simple tips to help things go as smoothly as possible. During the session, we always follow your baby’s lead, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and snuggles. There’s no rush—some of the sweetest moments happen in between. My goal is for you to feel relaxed and supported every step of the way.
